Next Week

It's official. The game against North Pitt will not be played Monday evening. It has been rescheduled to the open date. We will have practice on Tuesday afterschool from 3:45 to 5:30 as previously scheduled. Hope you all have had a great weekend. Enjoy the holiday!

Practice Cancelled

Sorry guys, I just realized that this is a scheduled teacher workday from 1:00 to 8:30. Therefore, we can't have practice during this time. I will see you all tomorrow. We need to be to the school by 4:45. The bus will leave at 5:00 and we will be stopping in Washington for dinner. Bring about six dollars. Thanks

Change of Plans...

Due to a scheduling conflict with the ECU Cheerleaders, we will be unable to attend ECCats on Tuesdays. Ayden-Griftons practices will be on Wednesdays from 4:00 to 6:00. I would like to continue our Tuesday practices to create new cheers and prepare the banners for the football games. Therefore we will meet afterschool on Tuesdays from 3:45 to 5:30. We will continue the Thursday practice from 3:45 to 5:30 as previously planned. I'm sorry if this is inconvenient for anyone, but there are no other options. Please make me aware immediately of scheduling conflicts.

First Football Game of the Year

I want to congratulate you all on your first night together. It is evident that all of your hard work has paid off. I was so excited to see you all do so well! I would like to thank Junior Emily H. for leading our cheers last night. You all received many compliments from the fans. They enjoyed the show and have requested more crowd response cheers. Great job girls....

Kicking off the Year

I would like to commend you all on a very successful camp. Your competition routine is awesome! Thank you so much for taking care of each other during camp. Remember that we have all been brought together at this moment in our lives and we are going to be the very best that we can be. This year I want you to focus on supporting our school and encouraging the other students to do the same thing. Focus on your routine as a reward for yourselves and your dedication to the sport of cheerleading. I have very high expectations of each of you. Remember that everyone will be watching. You must always exemplify the true qualities of a cheerleader; compassionate, caring, understanding, patient, and full of spirit. I love you all.

Practice monday morning is at 9:00 am in the auxillary gym where we will continue working on the cheers. Everyone needs to be ready to cheer on Friday for the endowment game against Pamlico. The bloomers and midriffs arrived today. Whew! That was close. Shoes should be here this next week as well. See you Monday.

Great week. Practice on Thursday went well. Have a safe weekend and get plenty of rest ladies...Camp is at EC Cats on Monday from 9a.m.-3p.m.

Make sure to bring six dollars for lunch. I can't wait to put all of our hard work into action.

Fundraising Begins NOW!

Many of you have started getting pledges for the carwash on Saturday. Remember, we need to be there by 7:30 to set up. We start washing at 8:00. Everyone bring a bucket, sponge, soap to wash the cars with, towels, and a change of clothes just in case you need them. Wear flip flops or an old pair of sneakers that you don't mind getting wet. Make sure you bring your pledge sheets as well. Ladies bring your smiles and your elbow grease. Let's earn some cash!

Evening Practice

We will have an enrichment practice at EC Cats on Monday July 17. We will be meeting from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. There is a very small fee for using their facilities. Contact Samantha, Lakita, Katie or myself for additional information. Hope you can attend! =)
